Role Overview: Estimating Manager

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Estimating Manager will oversee civil construction projects from estimation to contract management. This hands-on leadership role requires expertise in bulk earthworks and concrete works projects and the ability to mentor and manage a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Detailed Cost Estimation: Generate accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Tender Management: Lead the tenders team in preparing successful submissions.
  • Project Execution: Create project execution methodologies aligned with estimates.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead the tenders team to maintain high performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders to manage project risks and optimize solutions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 10+ Years of Estimating Experience in civil construction (earthworks, concrete, NPI, roadworks).
  • Formal Education in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Estimation Software like Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Team-Building Skills with proven experience in leading high-performing teams.
