About the Opportunity:
A family-oriented childcare centre in Geelong, Victoria, is seeking experienced Early Childhood Teachers and Educational Leaders to join their inspirational leadership group. This role offers the opportunity to mentor and guide educators, foster a collaborative learning environment, and positively impact children’s development. The center is also offering 494 Regional Visa sponsorship for eligible candidates with at least three years of experience in the Australian childcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educational Leadership:
- Fulfill the ACECQA (Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority) role of Educational Leader.
- Establish and maintain the ACECQA Quality Framework within the center.
- Train, motivate, and mentor educators to achieve optimal learning outcomes for children.
- Curriculum Development:
- Prepare and implement a comprehensive educational program.
- Lead the preparation of materials and equipment to support children’s learning and development.
- Provide experiences that foster play and learning.
- Childcare Environment:
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for both staff and children.
- Collaborate with the Director to prepare, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs.
- Liaise with families to foster strong partnerships.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification recognized by the Victorian Institute of Teaching (vit.vic.edu.au).
- Minimum of three years of full-time (or equivalent) experience in the Australian childcare industry.
- Available to work full-time.
- Passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Eligible for 494 Regional Visa sponsorship (3 years of experience in Australia).
