Job Duties for Drywall Installer Job Opportunity
- Apply multiple layers of compound and sand joints for a smooth finish
- Install metal corner beads to safeguard exterior edges
- Use tools like trowels and broad knives to fill joints, nail holes, and cracks with joint compound
- Measure, cut, and securely fit drywall sheets
- Even out extra compound and let each layer dry
- Use taping machines to cover seams and embed tape in compound
