Position Overview: Drill Fitter (Surface & Underground)

We are currently seeking experienced Drill Fitters to work on both surface and underground rigs. At Redfield, you will have the opportunity to work with high-quality brands, including:

• CAT
• Sandvik
• ATLAS Copco
• SCHRAMM
• Epiroc
• Boart Longyear

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing complete breakdown repairs and maintenance on drilling equipment.
• Conducting general servicing and repairs to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Assisting maintenance departments with associated tasks.
• Working within a supportive team environment to develop and hone your skills.

Candidate Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Possess an Australian-recognized Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of post-trade experience specializing in drilling equipment.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Previous FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) experience with companies such as FMG, BHP, Rio Tinto, or MRL is highly desirable.
• Exhibit a strong commitment to safety and excellent customer service.
