Position Overview: Weston FM Group is seeking a Commercial Cleaner for a busy shopping centre in Newmarket, Suffolk (CB8 8EQ). This full-time cleaning position offers a fixed 44-hour workweek at £11.55 per hour, with the added benefit of double pay on public holidays. Key Responsibilities

• Routine Cleaning Tasks: Maintain high standards by dusting, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, and cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Use of Equipment: Operate on-site machinery, including a viper scrubber dryer, demon pressure washer, and floor buffer to maintain cleanliness.
• Waste Management: Empty bins throughout the facility to keep the shopping centre sanitary.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and report maintenance issues or hazards.
• Customer Interaction: Respond to customer requests or concerns professionally and courteously.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in Commercial Cleaning: Prior experience, though full training is provided for the right candidate.
• Knowledge of Cleaning Supplies: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and proper handling techniques (COSHH certification advantageous).
• Physical Capability: Able to perform physical cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to follow instructions and interact with customers, tenants, and team members.
