As a Cleaning Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facility areas, including lodging, fitness centers, and community spaces. You’ll report to the Lead Cleaning Technician and function as a Facility Manager, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and meet company standards.
Responsibilities
- Custodial Duties: Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, such as restroom cleaning, floor maintenance, dusting, and trash removal.
- Facility Management: Oversee assigned locations, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- On-Call Services: Provide additional cleaning services as needed, including on-call and after-hours support.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and regulations, and maintain a safe and sanitary environment for all users.
- Training and Development: Participate in training programs to improve skills and knowledge.
- Equipment and Supplies: Properly utilize and safeguard all company-provided equipment and supplies.
- Time Reporting: Accurately track and report your working hours.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of general cleaning experience.
- Certifications: Must have an international driver’s license and be capable of obtaining an Air Force flight line driver’s license.
- Language: Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Safety Training: Completion of CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) defense training and fit testing of protective gear.
- Preferred Qualifications: Forklift driver experience, HAZMAT training, and military experience.
