Job Responsibilities for Cleaner Job Opportunity

As a Cleaner at Spruce’d, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors; vacuuming carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture; dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces; making beds, changing sheets, and distributing fresh linens; stocking linen closets and replenishing toiletries; cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances; washing windows, walls, and ceilings; emptying trash bins and picking up debris; performing laundry duties, including household linens and clothing; addressing and resolving guests’ or clients’ requests for additional items or services; performing light housekeeping duties, as needed; cleaning showers, changing rooms, and high-touch areas; responding professionally to any customer concerns or complaints.

Work Environment and Conditions

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Cleaners are expected to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently. You may be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and lift supplies or equipment regularly. Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility are essential.

Required Qualifications

Language: English
Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of related cleaning experience preferred
Work Eligibility: Canadian citizen, Permanent resident of Canada, or valid Canadian work permit
Licensing & Transportation: Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle. Applicants must be willing to undergo a criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and driver’s license validation.
