About the Role
As a Class 4 Concrete Truck Driver at Firth, you will be a key player in delivering high-quality ready-mix concrete to various sites — from residential builds to large-scale commercial developments — across the Auckland region. You will represent our brand on the road and on-site, so professionalism, punctuality, and a strong customer focus are essential.
Key Responsibilities for Class 4 Concrete Truck Driver

Safely operate a Class 4 concrete truck in compliance with road and site safety regulations

Deliver concrete to residential and commercial construction sites in a timely and efficient manner

Conduct pre-start vehicle checks and carry out minor vehicle maintenance as needed

Accurately complete all delivery documentation and uphold high standards of customer service

Collaborate with the dispatch and operations team to ensure seamless delivery scheduling

Maintain compliance with Health & Safety policies, contributing to a culture of safety-first
What You’ll Need to Succeed

A valid New Zealand Class 4 Driver Licence

Minimum 6 months’ experience driving heavy vehicles (concrete delivery experience is an advantage)

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and team members

A reliable and responsible attitude, with a focus on punctuality and care for equipment

Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of a fast-paced, hands-on role

A proactive approach to safety, with the ability to follow processes and contribute to a team culture
