BGC Concrete is seeking experienced Agitator Truck Drivers to join our growing team, working out of our batching plants across the Perth metro area. With the continuing expansion of our fleet and a booming housing market, BGC Concrete is looking to fill multiple permanent full-time positions, with immediate openings at our Naval Base plant. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-established company with over 60 years of experience in the building and construction industry.

Position Details: Agitator Truck Driver

  • Location: Naval Base, Perth WA
  • Industry: Road Transport (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
  • Work Type: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Shifts: Includes overtime, weekend work, and shift work as required
  • Role: Full-time permanent role based at various batching plants across Perth Metro Area including Quinns Rocks, Bassendean, Wangara, Hazelmere, Canning Vale, Armadale, and Mandurah.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Quality Control: Ensure the delivery of high-quality concrete products by adhering to strict quality control procedures.
  • Safe Truck Operation: Operate the agitator truck efficiently to transport concrete between batching plants and construction sites.
  • Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork related to the delivery of concrete to meet regulatory standards.
  • General Yard Maintenance: Help with yard and site upkeep to ensure a clean and organized workspace.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Driver’s License: Valid WA HR driver’s license (required).
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience operating HR vehicles in a similar capacity.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with concrete delivery standards and handling of concrete products.
  • Area Knowledge: Good knowledge of the Perth metro area and surrounding regions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
  • White Card: Valid WA White Card (required).
  • Commercial Driver’s Medical: Current medical certificate (highly regarded).
  • Fatigue Management: Certification in Fatigue Management (highly regarded).
