Role Purpose: The purpose of this position is to complete assembly and manufacturing operations in order to satisfy daily dispenser production targets and objectives as outlined in our construction plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow the Company’s quality system’s specified processes for product assembly, equipment operation, and safety standards.
  • Visual inspection capacity is available to ensure that the product is of good quality.
  • If a deviation from the quality standard is discovered, notify the Production Supervisor.
  • At various stages of assembly, check the assembly using test equipment and tell the Production Supervisor if a problem emerges.
  • Assembling work progresses, quality control tests are performed on a regular basis.
  • Apply labels to the finished production cartons.
  • Keep track of daily work reports, such as the number of parts manufactured, scrapped parts, and production downtime.
  • Return any components that are no longer in use to the designated areas. In the production floor area, there are material queuing areas.
  • Prepare the assembly cells and all assembly components for the next shift.
  • Report any prospective problems that could compromise current production plans to the Production Supervisor, as well as when components and/or materials are running low.
  • Report any shortages of consumable materials, such as gloves, tape, and so on, to the Production Supervisor.
  • Make sure to take every precaution to avoid mixing materials or assembly components.
  • If the equipment requires technical attention, get assistance from the supervisor.

  • Weigh, count, and record the output of moulded components on work order papers.
  • To comply with the Health and Safety Act’s criteria, remove waste and break apart empty boxes to keep the work area clean and clutter-free.
  • After each use, return tools and fittings to their assigned area.
  • Safety policies and procedures must be learned and followed.
  • Be willing to take part in detecting, reporting, and assisting in the elimination of health and safety risks.
  • Be willing to work a variety of shifts as needed.
  • Other responsibilities and special projects will be assigned as needed.

Working Conditions:

  • The shift in the afternoon 3 p.m. – 7:10 a.m. (Monday to Friday) a shift of eight hours
  • Two 10-minute breaks and one 20-minute lunch break are provided.
  • To meet corporate needs, you may be expected to work extra with pay.
  • Lifting capacity of 35 lbs.
  • Repetitive work, hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and physical dexterity will be required.
  • Safety policies, job instructions, procedure manuals, and personnel policies should all be read and understood.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or an equivalence obtained through alternative education, with relevant work experience
  • Skills in mathematics
  • To follow out precise written or verbal directions, use common sense comprehension.
