Next Level Consulting Solutions is hiring experienced Boilermakers, Welders, and Metal Fabricators for full-time roles in Muswellbrook – Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter NSW. These are direct-to-client hire positions with long-term stability, strong career growth, and premium allowances.

Muswellbrook is one of Australia’s major mining and heavy industrial hubs, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in heavy structural steel, earthmoving equipment, or mining infrastructure fabrication.

About the Role

You will work with highly skilled teams in a mining-heavy region, performing fabrication and welding on:

• Dump truck bodies

• Heavy structural steel

• Mining infrastructure components

• Earthmoving equipment parts

You will be supported by a dedicated manager and work with reputable industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures as per drawings

• Interpret engineering drawings and welding blueprints

• Cut, shape, bend, and fit metal components

• Perform heavy welding (Arc, MIG, Stick, Flux Core)

• Conduct quality inspections on finished components

• Set up welding equipment based on material type

• Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently

• Maintain accurate production and material records

• Follow strict OH&S safety procedures

• Keep a clean and organized work area

• Complete fabrication jobs within required timelines

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years full-time experience in a similar role

• Cert III in a relevant trade (Boilermaking / Fabrication / Welding)

• Prior experience in a mining environment

• Experience working on mining plant & equipment

• Strong skills in heavy structural steel fabrication

• Ability to read & interpret detailed engineering drawings

• Experience using manual & automated cutting equipment

Pay & Conditions

• Base Rate: $35/hr

• Allowances: $10/hr – $30/hr (depending on experience & role)

• Total Earnings: $45/hr – $65/hr

• Full-time employment

• Rostered mining hours

• Long-term career stability with direct hire
