Key Responsibilities

• Perform mild & stainless-steel welding per Propak standards

• Operate & set up welding equipment (cutting, gouging, grinding)

• Read/interpret blueprints & welding specs

• Execute GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, PAW, SMAW, OAW, resistance welding & SAW

• Operate flame-cutting tools

• Prepare materials by grinding/gouging

• Maintain welding machines

• Adjust welding heads/tooling as per job requirements

Qualifications

• ABSA Machine Operator Certificate

• Grade C Pressure Welder Certificate

• Valid jurisdictional Performance Qualification

• 2+ years relevant experience

• Ability to guide/mentor apprentices

• Must sign Drug-Free Workplace & Confidentiality Agreements
