Riverlea Group Limited is seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Truck Driver to join our busy logistics team in Hamilton North. This is a full-time role offering variety, stability, and the opportunity to represent a proud New Zealand family-owned company.

We’re looking for someone with at least a Class 3 licence, with a Class 5 licence strongly preferred. You’ll travel across the North Island delivering high-quality products to our valued customers, and when not on the road, you’ll assist with general duties around the factory and yard.

Key Responsibilities for Truck Driver Required post 2025

As part of our logistics team, your day-to-day duties will include:

Driving & Delivery

  • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and collect products across the North Island.

  • Transport a range of goods including wheelbarrows, lifestyle products, garden sheds, cladding materials, and small freight items.

  • Plan your routes and manage time efficiently to ensure deliveries are made on schedule.

  • Complete all required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

  • Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.

  • Load and unload products safely to prevent damage.

  • Undertake occasional overnight stays where required.

General Factory & Yard Duties for Truck Driver Required post 2025

  • Assist with freight handling, yard maintenance, and inventory checks.

  • Help with light repairs and general production support when you’re not out on deliveries.

  • Work alongside dispatch and warehouse teams to keep operations flowing smoothly.

  • Use in-cab technology and Dispatch Track (training provided if needed).

We’re after a driver who is not only skilled behind the wheel but also represents our company values proudly. To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Essential

  • A clean driving record.

  • Minimum Class 3 licence (Class 5 preferred).

  • Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the job.

  • Good communication skills with strong English fluency.

  • Reliability, self-motivation, and readiness to pitch in where needed.

  • A strong focus on customer service and safety.

  • Ability to think on your feet and solve problems quickly.

  • NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa.

Preferred (Not Essential)

  • Forklift licence.

  • Hi-Ab operating experience.

  • Experience delivering a wide range of products.
