Key Responsibilities: Expert TIG Welding for Cryogenic Assemblies

In this cryogenic TIG welder role, you’ll operate advanced equipment to produce durable, precise welds in challenging positions. Your expertise ensures the reliability of components vital to clean energy infrastructure.

  • Fabricate Welded Assemblies: Manufacture stainless steel structures using TIG and MIG techniques for cryogenic environments.
  • Prepare and Set Up Components: Align parts with calipers, rulers, and clamps per specifications; use angle grinders for surface prep.
  • Perform Multi-Position Welding: Execute welds in PB, PF, PA, and PC positions with manual or semi-automatic tools.
  • Verify Weld Quality: Inspect seams against standards, using measurements and visual checks to guarantee precision.
  • Interpret Technical Drawings: Read plans, blueprints, and values to layout processes and maintain equipment safety.
  • Uphold Safety Protocols: Ensure tools and gear (e.g., face shields, gloves) meet industry regulations.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience in welding and manufacturing, especially stainless steel or aluminum.

Preferred Certifications

  • AWS Welding Certificate (professional level).
  • Advantageous exams:
    • Aluminum: EN ISO 9606-2 141 T BW 23 S t06 D50 H-L045 ss nb; EN ISO 9606-2 135 P FW 23 S t10 PB ml.
