Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent education.
Experience

2 to 3 years of relevant experience in greenhouse, nursery, or farm supervision.
Work Site Environment

Primarily outdoors in greenhouse and field environments.

Work may involve exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and physical activity.
Work Setting

On-site only; remote work is not available.

Key Responsibilities
As a Greenhouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring productivity, and maintaining crop quality across all greenhouse and nursery activities. Your duties will include:

Supervising and coordinating the work of greenhouse and nursery workers, general farm laborers, and harvesting staff (typically 5–10 individuals).

Monitoring plant growth, soil conditions, irrigation systems, and pest management programs to ensure optimal production.

Maintaining detailed work records and production logs for tracking output, staff performance, and crop health.

Requisitioning materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure seamless operations.

Providing technical guidance to team members on greenhouse practices, plant care, and equipment usage.

Resolving operational challenges and recommending effective strategies to enhance productivity, crop quality, and worker efficiency.

Implementing quality control standards to meet company and regulatory requirements.

Training and mentoring new staff members on safety procedures, equipment handling, and crop management.

Coordinating harvesting schedules, packaging, and shipment of products.

Supervising and overseeing livestock or crop-related programs, depending on operational needs.
Supervision

Manage a team of 5 to 10 employees, including greenhouse, nursery, and general farm workers.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
This role involves both managerial and hands-on work. You should be comfortable with:

Working under pressure to meet deadlines and seasonal production targets.

Performing physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
