Job Details

Location: 330 Middlefield Road, Scarborough, ON, M1S 5B1
Work Location: On-site (no remote option)
Salary: $18.65 – $36.00 per hour (negotiable), based on skills and experience
Hours of Work: 30–44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Work Schedule: Morning, Day, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours
Start Date: As soon as possible

Overview

Languages Required: English
Education: Secondary (high school) diploma required
Experience: No prior experience necessary — training will be provided
Relocation: Candidates willing to relocate may apply

Work Site Environment

Cold/refrigerated areas
Dusty and wet/damp conditions
Warehouse-based operations

Key Responsibilities

Follow proper food safety and handling procedures
Transport raw materials, packaging, and finished products within the facility
Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers
Manually pack goods into boxes, bags, and other packaging
Inspect and sort products for quality assurance and detect basic defects
Assist process control and machine operators with daily tasks
Clean, maintain, and sanitize machines and immediate work areas
Sort, crate, and package fruits, vegetables, and other products
Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse/shop area

Transportation and Travel Information

Easily accessible by public transportation

Work Conditions and Physical Demands

Repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and strong hand–eye coordination
Standing for long periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling
Fast-paced and physically demanding environment
Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
