About the Role
Two Lands Limited is offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Broiler Chicken Farm Assistant. This role covers all aspects of modern poultry farming, focusing on maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare, farm management, and facility upkeep.
You will be working closely with the Farm Manager and Operations Manager, receiving full training and support to develop your skills in broiler farm management. The role involves both hands-on daily animal care and operational responsibilities that ensure the smooth running of the site.

This position also offers on-site accommodation in a comfortable three-bedroom home with a single garage, situated just 10 minutes from Matamata township.
Key Responsibilities

Assisting the Farm Manager in the day-to-day operations of the broiler farm.

Ensuring the welfare, health, and comfort of chickens at all times.

Maintaining farm facilities to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.

Participating in a rostered system to provide 24-hour coverage for alarms and farm care.

Working alternate weekends to ensure continuous monitoring and support of farm operations.

Assisting at other sites when required, particularly during end-of-batch clean-outs or general maintenance.

Operating farm machinery such as tractors when needed.

A valid New Zealand driver’s licence.

Experience in operating farm machinery, particularly tractors.
