Job Overview

Allo Mon Coco is seeking a motivated and reliable Cook’s Helper to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and eager to develop their culinary skills. You will play a key part in supporting cooks, preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Education and Experience

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant kitchen or food preparation experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

As a Cook’s Helper, you will:

  • Assist cooks and chefs with daily food preparation and cooking tasks.

  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits.

  • Prepare ingredients and keep supplies stocked.

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing surfaces.

  • Receive, unpack, and store kitchen supplies and food deliveries.

  • Assist with plating meals and portioning food.

  • Handle kitchen tools, utensils, and appliances safely.

  • Follow health, hygiene, and safety regulations at all times.

  • Support the team in ensuring efficient kitchen operations during busy hours.
