Job Responsibilities and Daily Tasks
As a Factory Helper, you will support various departments within the factory by completing general labor and production-related duties. Your responsibilities will include:
Material Handling
Weighing and Checking Materials: Ensure materials are properly measured and verified before and after production.
Transporting Raw Materials: Move materials and products between workstations using manual or powered tools.
Inventory Assistance: Assist in keeping track of material usage and notify supervisors when supplies are low.
Supporting Machine Operators
Help machine operators with set-up, feeding raw materials into machines, and monitoring output.
Load and unload production equipment.
Assist in changing machine parts, replenishing materials, and troubleshooting minor issues under supervision.
Assembly Assistance
Work closely with assemblers to complete production tasks, including combining foam pieces, trimming, shaping, or packaging.
Use basic tools and equipment as required for assembly.
General Labour Duties
Perform basic tasks such as stacking, labeling, boxing, and shrink-wrapping finished products.
Follow instructions carefully and maintain high-quality standards throughout the process.
Workplace Cleanliness and Safety
Cleaning Duties: Keep machines, floors, and immediate work areas clean and safe.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to workplace safety protocols including use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Report any hazards, damaged equipment, or safety issues to supervisors promptly.
