Overview:

Royal Oak Exteriors Ltd, located in Prince George, BC, is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will play a key role in construction projects, focusing on residential settings.

User support technician Requirements:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

User support technician Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
• Prepare tenders and quotations
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
• Schedule and coordinate work on sites
• Survey building locations and levels
• Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
• Estimate costs and materials
• Operate CADD and other computer software systems
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
